Our free Hospitality training workshop is underway at in2wrk Hull, providing learners with key skills and qualifications to help them reach their career goals. This training is designed to give learners a feel for what is expected in a fast-paced Hospitality setting.

The Hospitality training workshop is part of our growing range of Pre-Employment courses which are available to unemployed people. So far in Hull, we have delivered a number of Business Admin courses. To build on this we listened to the needs of local people, and as the Hospitality industry is the fourth largest in the UK, we decided to put together a two-week workshop.

This training package includes four valuable, industry-based qualifications in Introduction to Hospitality, Equality and Diversity, Customer Service and Introduction to Growing Sales. Learners will also receive a Basic Food Hygiene certificate which can make the difference between getting an interview or not.

We spoke to a couple of learners that are currently on this course to find out what they think so far and what they are looking forward to.

“The course is great! I’m really glad I signed up for it, it’s been very informative so far,” Philip Lawton told us.

“I’ve enjoyed the course so far. I’m looking forward to the role-playing aspects and the food preparation part,” Matthew Adams said.
